“Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.”
Proverbs 18:21 TPT
Long ago, a friend told me that “God is not a Waster of Resources.”
Within that period, I was applying for a job in a firm, and this firm kept calling me for varieties of interviews.
I spent all my money running around for different interviews, I even borrowed money from friends and family for transportation to convey me to the place of the business interview.
I spent so many resources, money, time, and energy that I became frustrated and began to lose hope, but somehow my spirit cling to the word that my friend – “God is not a waster of resources.”
After about 4 to 6 interviews and about 6 – 8 months waiting period after the interviews, I got a call from the firm and my employment letter was mailed to me.
The power of words accepted by the spirit is unimaginable.
They are so powerful that they can give life and take life as we saw in the book of proverbs.
Words are like seeds, once planted into your heart by hearing (reception) and watered by believing them, they are bound to germinate.
A friend told me how a prophet told her mom that she won’t survive her illness, the mom accepted that prophecy, and today she is no more.
Another friend told me how a genuine man of God told his friend that his father won’t survive his illness, his friend rejected that prophecy and sort another man of God who believed in him and gave him a favorable prophecy. And today his father is alive.
This was also the case of King Hezekiah who Prophet Isaiah told he was to die, he rejected it and God added more life to him.
5. “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, `This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now, you will go up to the temple of the LORD. 6. I will add fifteen years to your life.
